Licensing

Wicomico Day School is approved as an official Core Knowledge School. The Core Knowledge sequence provides a solid, coherent foundation of knowledge from grade to grade and is designed to encourage steady academic progress as children build their knowledge and skills from one year to the next. The curriculum for children ages 3 and up follows the Core Knowledge Sequence and is adapted for the 2 year olds where appropriate.

• Maryland State Department of Education. The educational programs for children ages 5 through the middle school grades are licensed by the Maryland State Department; Office of Non-public Accreditation (License #3494).
• Child Care Administration. The preschool educational programs, before and after school programs, and summer enrichment programs are licensed by the Child Care division of the Maryland State Department of Education.
